Abdul Hamid (politician):


Abdul Hamid (Bengaliআব্দুল হামিদ; born 1 January 1944) is the 16th  and current President of Bangladesh. Prior to this position, he served as the Speaker of the National Parliament from January 2009 to April 2013.


 He was the acting President after the death ofZillur Rahman in March 2013. Hamid took oath as president on April 22, 2013.

Zillur Rahman:


Mohammed Zillur Rahman (Bengaliমোঃ জিল্লুর রহমান; 9 March 1929 – 20 March 2013) was the 15th President of Bangladesh from 2009 to 2013. He was also a senior presidium member of the Awami League. In 2009, Rahman was elected to the presidency by parliament in an uncontested vote; the Awami League had won the vast majority of seats in the 2008 parliamentary election. 

He is the third president of Bangladesh, after Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Ziaur Rahman, to die in office, while being the first to die of natural causes.

Muhammad Jamiruddin Sircar (Bengali: মোহাম্মদ জমীরুদ্দিন সরকার) (born December 1, 1931) was the acting president ofBangladesh. He is a Barrister and a renowned politician. He was the speaker of the Parliament of Bangladesh. He is one of the founding members of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party and was a member of the Standing Committee, which was the policy making body of the party, from its inception.

Abu'l Qasim Muhammad[citation needed] Badruddoza Chowdhury (born 1 November 1932) was the President of Bangladesh, serving from 14 November 2001 until his resignation on 21 June 2002. He was the founding secretary-general of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).
